The Managing Director of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, Engr. Garba Haruna has reiterated the commitment of his Company to evacuate and deliver to its customers all power to be generated from the Kaduna power plant situated in Kudenda industrial layout in Kaduna.
He made the assertion in Kaduna today while responding to an enquiry by the Minister of Power, Engineer Saleh Mamman and the Minister of State, Power, Mr. Goddy Jeddy Agba on the preparedness of the Disco to utilize the power to be generated from the Station which is almost 86% completed.
The Managing Director who was represented by the Chief Driving Officer of the Company, Mr. Raul Kumar commended the Federal government’s renewed commitment towards the completion of the project which he said will bring an end to perennial problem of low voltage being experienced by most industries and other maximum demand customers in the state.
He assured the Ministers that Kaduna Electric has completed the construction of necessary overhead lines to synchronize the propose power source with the existing power lines.
Earlier, the two Ministers, who are on a two-day working visit to Kaduna State, inspected the 330KV transmission station in Mando and the Kaduna power plant in Kudenda.
The Minister of Power, Engr. Saleh Mamman disclosed that the Ministry will ensure that all on-going power projects in the country are completed and power is delivered to the good people of Nigeria
